Beware : Fake People’s Postcode Lottery letters

If you receive a letter claiming you've won thousands in the People's Postcode Lottery, be cautious as it may be a scam.

The letter usually includes the People's Postcode Lottery branding and logo and claims that your postcode has been randomly selected from the electoral roll database.

You may be asked to call a number to claim your prize, but this is a tactic used by scammers to steal your personal information.

If you're targeted by an impersonation scam, learn how to protect yourself by seeking further guidance.

Beware of imitation letters that look legitimate but are fraudulent.
