A local borough resident had a cold-call from 0330 174 9418 on mobile claiming to be a woman from 02 offering one-time 40% deal off 02 contract. Trying to put pressure to sign up and to expect a text but if the resident had another call or text to hang up as that might a scam! Deception tactic and social manipulation to agree as may not call again! Claims to be based in SL1 4DX and when trying to get more information the caller hung up.
If it sounds to good to be true it probably is, and if is out-of-the-blue needless to say do not respond to such scam calls.
