On FRIDAY 31ST MARCH 2023 officers from the Integrated enforcement team, neighbourhood tasking team and from the Woolwich town centre team conducted a warrant under SECTION 23 MISUSE OF DRUGS in PARRY PLACE SE18.
This is an area that officers have dealt with relentlessly for over two years. There has been numerous complaints from members of the public with the drug dealing that occurs in area daily, local businesses have been effected. There has been a lot of violent crime in the area due to the drug dealing and the anti-social behaviour.
Officers have worked together with the ROYAL BOROUGH OF GREENWICH COUNCIL to try and piece together where these drugs were being dealt from and where they were being stored. Finally PC PACZENSKY put together a warrant for DVINE CAKES after intelligence was gathered from officers from the above different teams.
Four arrests were made, over 100 snap bags of Cannabis was seized and over £1500.00 in cash was seized. During the warrant members of the public walking past thanked officers for finally conducting warrant in the shop that has caused many issues for years, impacting local businesses and the local communities.
Detectives from the SE Burglary Squad have secured 16 charges against 2 individuals after investigating a series of residential burglaries in both Bexley and Greenwich boroughs. Homes in Welling were targeted over a 3 day period, with several cars being stolen along with other items of personal property. East Wickham SNT officers quickly conducted follow up enquiries with residents and gathered evidence before linking in with the Burglary Team who took over the investigation. A male was identified within 48 hrs and detectives established that he was also responsible for 2 Residential Burglaries on Greenwich Borough.
Proactive Burglary officers worked tirelessly to locate the male who was arrested along with a second individual on 23th March. All evidence was put to the Crown Prosecution Service who authorised 15 charges against one male, including 6 Residential Burglary and 2 Attempted Residential Burglary charges and one charge of Handling Stolen Goods against a second male. Both suspects have been remanded in custody to face the courts. A great example of SNT and Burglary Squad officers working together to identify and apprehend these individuals before they can cause further harm
Bexley Neighbourhood Tasking Team were tasked on 29th March with locating and arresting a suspect who frequents Erith. The suspect had been identified by Safer Neighbourhood officers through ring doorbell footage as being responsible for a linked series of 5 burglaries in Barnehurst and Northumberland Heath wards between 19th and 28th March 2023.
Bexley Neighbourhood tasking team have dealt with the suspect on numerous occasion and have good local knowledge of address that he attends and people that he associates with. After a day of trying numerous address, whilst patrolling Northumberland Heath Ward, the suspect was found loitering in an estate. After a short struggle he was detained and arrested. He was found in possession of property from a recent burglary. Booked in at Bexley custody and handed over to the Burglary squad to progress the investigation.
On 31st March the suspect was charged with 2 burglaries, 3 attempted burglaries, 6 fraud offences, 6 offences of motor vehicle interference and 1 theft by finding.
Suspect observed to be dealing drugs on Catford Broadway. Approached by Trilogy officers and male made off. Detained following a foot chase with 9 bags of cannabis and over £300.
Dog unit called and located approximately 35 wraps of crack and heroin that had been discarded

Sidcup SNT along with Longlands, St Marys conducted a speed awareness traffic operation resulting in, 2 Vehicle seizures, 1 Arrest, 1 Breathalysed, 3 reported for driving with no licence, 3 for no insurance and 1 permitting use without insurance.
