Don't:
- click on any links
- download any attachments
- reply
Do:
- report the message to your mobile operator by forwarding the message to 7726, free of charge
- contact us using the number on the back of your card if you want to check whether the message was genuine
- delete the message
Needless to say please be aware of such phishing scams or report to report@phishing.gov.uk. Do not click on links or attachments in unexpected or suspicious texts or emails.
You can also report the scam to Action Fraud, the national fraud reporting centre.
