Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a rubbish pile fire on Ray Lamb Way in Erith.
One fifty metre by ten metre rubbish pile was destroyed by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of 5 calls at 1500 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1817. Crews from Plumstead and Erith Fire Stations attended the scene alongside Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
