Flu vaccination webinar tomorrow

This Friday 4th December, 10.00-11.30am we are hosting a flu vaccination webinar. The session will include:

  • Facts about the flu vaccine
  • Information on vaccines in general
  • A workshop on having conversations with others about vaccinations, how to talk openly on the subject and answer difficult questions
  • Information and development of skills in order for you to help signpost those in your community to other services.

This session is being hosted in collaboration with Bexley CCG and London Borough of Bexley Public Health team.

MHRA approves first UK COVID-19 Vaccine


It has been announced on the news that the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency the UK medicines regulator has approved the first UK COVID-19 vaccine.

It is not compulsory to take but the PM is urging so for its use.

Catalytic Converter Theft arrests and crime prevention advice

Three males have been arrested in an operation cracking down on the thefts of catalytic converters in Bexley. 

The arrests took place in Watery Lane in Sidcup, and saw officers from MPS Longlands, MPS St Marys, MPS Blackfen, MPS Blendon and Kent Police Sevenoaks take part.

On November 15, police reported that a catalytic converter had been stolen from a VW Golf at Queen Mary Hospital.

Another case was reported in a Morrisons car park on November 2 in Sidcup.

Welling Police has also warned that "we as a borough are currently seeing a rise in Catalytic Converter theft," and shared some advice on how to prevent it.
